I worked for a part supplier for some time, we were under constant pressure from the OEM s to use off shore suppliers for things like bolts and to shift work to China or Eastern Europe where labour is cheaper. So if I bought a “made in America” car how much of the parts not just the assembly come from the USA?

Looking for recommendations of good online stores that sell Toyota car parts as I need to order a few bits for my Carina. I used to use eurocarparts but they don’t do Jap cars obviously!

I am looking to purchase one but I have heard there are a lot of hidden cost and just regular maintenance can be pretty high. Also, I have heard Audi’s do not have a resell value and suffer from mechanical problems.

Any ideas? Any information would be appreciated.
